An Older Science Fiction Movie With a Robot House?

That sounds like "The Illustrated Man" (1969), starring Rod Steiger as a tattoo-covered guy whose body art "comes to life" when someone stares at it. The movie is based on a collection of Bradbury's stories, including "The Veldt". It's available on YouTube, I think this story is in Part 5.
