I think i just saw a ghost HELP!?

i'm really worried first i saw a flash then a felt a cold wind heard creak and then a while after i turned and saw what looked like a figure it had no legs and was wearign what looked like the top of a dark robe it just appeared and was standing i nthe centre of my room for half a second with a pear shaped head a bit like that van gogh scream painting but i immediantly got a shock, i was researching ghostly experiances do you think my mind is getting carried away?
