How can I take A passport style photo in my house?

in other words: stand against a plain white wall, and have someone take a picture of your shoulders and up, including your whole face. don't smile, and look straight at the camera. wear appropriate clothes and no hats. make sure the picture is taller than it is wide (portrait style)
