Help?! Art Project in school.?

So for school I have an art assignment where I have to choose and artist that have an interest in and like so I can write/type a report about he/she but the thing is that I have had an interest or liked any artists. I mean I've heard of famous ones like Vincent Van Gogh, Leonardo Da Vinci, Pablo Picasso, Andy Wharhol, and some others like Georgia O' Keefe. But they came from school so I was wondering if any people out there had suggestions for artists. BTW I like anime and manga but I wasn't so sure if we could do artists like that... (IF we were I would choose Motomi Kyousuke but I'm not so sure.) Oh and it would help if you named the artist, what kind of style their art is, and why you like/chose them. ;) P.S. I need this by March 23rd to tell my teacher what artist I'm planning on doing.
